Shipping agency: operations at the Turkish port of Ceyhan stopped due to the earthquake

Tribeca shipping agency said that operations at the Turkish oil port of Ceyhan were stopped after a strong earthquake occurred near it early on Monday morning, adding that an emergency meeting will be held on the matter.

Turkish pipeline operator Potash said there was no damage to the main pipelines.

In a notice, Tribeca said ports in southeastern Turkey were affected by the earthquake and delays in operations were reported.

A strong earthquake centered in southern Turkey occurred at dawn today, the intensity of which exceeded seven degrees on the Richter scale, resulting in hundreds of deaths and thousands of injured in Syria and Turkey.
