If you want to ship heavy goods that need to be loaded from the top or sides, such as pipes, machinery or buses, flat containers are the most suitable for you, as they have the same length and width as dry containers, equipped with angles to enable easy handling, and sometimes with wheels that allow them to roll over to conduct loading, unloading and docking operations at port berths.There are two types, namely :
1. flat containers:
20 ft flat container - has the same lengths as the 20 ft dry container and accommodates a load of up to 26 (CBM).
40 ft flat container - has approximately the same lengths as a 40 ft dry container and accommodates a load of up to 62 (CBM).
2. collapsible flat rack container:
They are containers that have the same properties as flat containers, but they have folding sides and do not have a roof on top, which facilitates the top and side loading process, and you can use them to transport construction equipment and supplies or heavy machinery.
20- ft collapsible flat rack container -5.6 meters long, 2.2 meters wide, 1.9 meters high. It can accommodate up to 24.3 (CBM) of cargo.
40 - ft collapsible flat rack container -11.77 meters long, 2.22 meters wide, 1.95 meters high. It can accommodate up to 51 (CBM) of cargo.
